  • Remark: This aircraft completed the first aerial crossing of the South Atlantic in 1922 which was made by the Portuguese naval aviators Gago Coutinho and Sacadura Cabral and totally covered a distance of 8 383 kilometers. For overflight were used three aircraft of type Fairey IIID. After the first aircraft (named Lusitânia) was lost after ditching and second aircraft (named Pátria) had engine problems, Santa Cruz completed the route when started from Fernando Noronha on 5 June 1922 to Recife, then to Salvador de Bahia, then to Porto Seguro, then to Vitória and finally to Rio de Janeiro, where it arrived on 17 June 1922.
